Valimet is an ISO 9001:2000 registered firm.  Valimet's quality system also conforms to the following standards: Mil-Q-9858, Mil-I-45208, NASA NHB 5300.4(IC) and ISO 1002-1 (Mil-STD-45662) and Boeing BQMS.  Valimet is an approved supplier to GenCorp Aerojet, Honeywell, Howmet Castings, Talley Defense Systems, and is approved under United Technologies/Pratt and Whitney LCS system.

Valimet's quality assurance laboratory has the latest state-of-the-art instrumentation for the full characterization of physical and chemical properties of metal powders.  Valimet performs chemical analysis by Induction Coupled Plasma (ICP) meeting ASTM E-34.  Particle size is determined by Laser Diffraction and sieve analysis meeting ASTM B-214.
